Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution,
And as approved by the People’s Assembly in the movement held on 10-26-1437 AH corresponding to 7-31-2016 AD.
The following is hereby enacted:
Article (1):
A Joint Fund is hereby established for trial judges, public prosecutors, judges of the State Council, military judges, members of the Supreme Constitutional Court, and state attorneys at the State Litigation Department.
Article (2):
The fund’s resources shall consist of:
a) Donations and grants provided by the state and its institutions.
b) A judicial stamp valued at 200 Syrian Pounds.
Article (3):
Active judges and state attorneys mentioned in Article (1) shall equally benefit from the fund's revenues.
Article (4):
Retired or medically discharged judges and state attorneys referred to in Article (1) shall equally benefit from the fund’s revenues at a rate of 50% of what is distributed to their active counterparts.
Article (5):
The Minister of Justice shall issue a decision determining the form, specifications, and placement of the judicial stamp on documents submitted to all judicial bodies, as well as the mechanism for administrative and financial oversight of the fund.
Article (6):
The assets of the fund established by Legislative Decree No. 3 of 2002 and those of the fund established by Legislative Decree No. 33 of 2008 shall, upon the issuance of this law, be transferred to the fund established under Article (1) of this law.
Article (7):
The fund’s revenues shall be exempt from all taxes and fees.
Article (8):
Legislative Decree No. 3 of 2002, Legislative Decree No. 12 of 2003, Legislative Decree No. 94 of 2005, and Legislative Decree No. 33 of 2008 are hereby repealed.
Article (9):
This law shall be published in the Official Gazette.
